Backup Community Recycling

Recycling is voluntary, but all residents are encouraged to participate. Recycling conserves trees, water, and other natural resources by reducing what people throw away and it returns valuable materials to industries for reuse. It is an easy way to help care for the environment.

Residential Curbside Recycling Program

Gulf Trace participates in Pasco County’s curbside recycling program. New to this program in 2013 is the option to use your own container with a NO COST reflective sticker placed on the side facing the street. Blue or clear bags may still be used and do not require a sticker.

You can put all of your recyclables in the same container. You do not need to separate them, place your container curbside the night before the pickup date.

Recycle pick up days are the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month except when it falls on the 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year. Then the pick up will be done on the next scheduled day.
